I received a check for $3200.55 from HSBC Bank. This check is bogus,
I called the man that I was instructed to call. The letter told me to send $2800.00 by western union to a tax agent. I informed the man on the phone that taxes are deducted from any funds that you receive so why would I send the tax agent any money. He rudely hang up. Scams are everywhere.

My husband has been deceased for 9 years now. Everyday I am receiving mail for him. Does anyone know how I can cancel his mail?
I am also receiving phone calls daily from people indicating that I made an application with their company. I have advised them that I am on the Do Not Call list but the calls continue to come.

I applied for a grant last year that was suppose to help with my utilities bills. I paid the company $300 and was informed that I would receive a grant for $5,000. The process took 3 months. I received the information but there wasn't a grant to pay for utilities. I considered it to be a rip off. Good luck.

The government will give you a grant to become a nurse. Many places no longer use cnas. The pay is much better for a medical assistant or nurse. I'm sorry that you don't have assistance with your children. I am a single mother also, so I know what it is like.I use to be a caregiver for patients in the hospital as well as in their homes. Maybe you can place an ad for a caregiver in the newspaper. The insurance companies pay for home care. Try the temp services because they have work when no one else does. Good luck.

Most of us on this site are having financial hardships too. It doesn't take a lot to make children happy. Since your friend has a child also maybe you could put your money together and have pizza and ice cream since you can't afford to have a birthday party. You could get gifts at the Family Dollar Store cheap. children don't need a lot to make them happy.

I understand that you need transportation. There are programs that provide vehicles for people in your position. There is a program called cars for christ. I'm sure there is probably a waiting list.

Getting 2 jobs is awesome. I don't think you will have many problems getting a job cleaning house. I know that you will get more jobs by word of mouth. If you believe there is nothing that you can't achieve.

I have been injured in 3 automobile accidents and I was the victim. I have had 11 surgeries to date. If you looked at me you would never know what I have endured. I have not worked since 1996 due to carpal tunnel and the other injuries from the accidents.

 I have lived with chronic pain for years and had been informed by the physicians that my pain was arthritis. An MRI revealed all of the injuries from the auto accidents.

My husband died in 2001 and I had to take care of myself because my daughter was too young to provide any assistance. My family does not live near me so I made it by the grace of God. I wish that I had a job because my life would be better but my health prohibits me from working. Whenever we think that things are tough for us someone else has endured so much more.

I am sorry for the pain that you have endured. My sister has received $10,000 tax refund every year. This year she promised to purchase furniture for my family room because the leather is tearing. When she received her refund she purchased a new double oven, side by side refrigerator, freezer, 80" TV and washer and dryer. When I asked her when I was going to receive my furniture she indicated that she  told me she was going to purchase me couch for $1,000. I purchased a vehicle for her and used my credit card to purchase her a computer.

I have prepared her tax returns for her since 2004 and she has received $10,000 every year. The previous preparer told her she was eligible for $2,000. Money is not the root of all evil, it is what people will do for the love of money. I never thought that my sister would do this to me. I prayed and asked God to remove the pain from my heart.

Thank you for your response. I contacted a personal injury attorney immediately after this incident. They all indicated that I don't have a case because I was injured by another customer. If you know someone that would pursue my case feel free to let me know.

I did not contact an attorney from Walmart. I was instructed

to contact the claim's office at Walmart. After they saw the tape

they called me indicating that Walmart was not responsible for

personal injuries in the store by another customer. If you know of

attorney that would like to pursue my case let me know.

Congraduations on your achievement. You are never too old for education. I think that everyone should pursue your dream. My cousin finally received her BS in June. She had a party for her friends and family. You go girl
